Mohammad Tari

I build software and AI products. Right now I’m building Phrasel, a SaaS platform for language learning and test preparation, where I lead technical development from architecture through deployment and scaling.

Timeline

2024 – Now — Co-founder and technical lead at Phrasel.

2022 – 2024 — AI engineer at Aethos Labs, building machine learning solutions for sales and investment workflows: data preparation and NLP models for prospect engagement prediction, sentiment analysis, deduplication, and bot detection.

2021 – 2022 — SharpestMinds mentorship: built an NLP application for researchers (summarization, classification of scientific articles, and title generation from abstracts).

2017 – 2020 — PhD work at Polytechnique Montréal on algorithms for highly nonlinear structures that deform under fluid flow, advised by Eric Laurendeau and Frederick Gosselin. Findings are in Flutter Instability of a Reconfiguring Beam with Large Displacement. I left the PhD to join the tech industry.

2013 – 2016 — MSc in Aerospace Engineering at Sharif University of Technology, advised by Masoud Darbandi, simulating wind-turbine aerodynamics.

2009 – 2013 — BSc in Aerospace Engineering at Sharif University of Technology; undergraduate research on combustion modeling for industrial incinerators.
